Melissa Chisholm

NASM CPT, AFAA Group Exercise, TRX, Kettlebell Concepts, Cross Core, UGI, RRCA, RYT 500

Melissa has been in the fitness and wellness field for 10 years with a focus on a holistic approach to diet and exercise. She has taught a variety of classes such as H.I.I.T. and Strength Training at BFX, Barry’s Bootcamp and City Row.

Melissa prides herself on designing custom fitness programs to accommodate individuals who do not fit into the "one size fits all" approach to health and wellness. Taking a results-oriented approach, her clients achieve a healthier living style and sense of well-being.


Chris Avery


Chris offers 20 years of professional personal training and wellness experience.

Chris specializes in functional training meeting the client where they are and assisting them in there journey to where they want to be.

Chris has experience working with professional level athletes and those in the midst of physical recovery.


Jared Aquilina


Jared has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Temple University and a Internship Certificate from Villanova for their Football Strength & Conditioning program. He has been a certified personal trainer in NYC for over 8 years.

Jared believes his clients should embrace their own struggles & challenges to fuel their fitness related progress.

He likes riding his bike in all seasons, strength training, art/design & consuming delicious tacos.


Kate Bishop

M.A. Applied Ex Phys, C.S.C.S., ACSM CEP, NCSF, Kettlebell 1, TRX, Vipr, Pre-Post Natal

Kate moved to NYC in 2011 as a professional modern dancer and lover of city life.

Kate considers herself a lifetime learner. Her fitness specialities include strength and conditioning, alignment and mobility, exercise for special populations such as pre/post natal, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Kate’s mission is to promote optimum physicality, attack goals and work towards a pain-free, more durable frame. 


Emmanuel Hunter

NSCA-CPT, Vipr, Pre/Post-Natal, Kettlebell Concepts

Emmanuel is a former Tier 3+ Equinox Trainer who’s been in the fitness industry for the 10 years after transitioning from an initial career on Wall Street.

In addition to his experience, Emmanuel competed in track and field as a 400m hurdler throughout his prep school and college years, and recently had been involved in bodybuilding.

While he specializes in strength & conditioning, High Intensity Interval Training, and functional training, he also has experience with teaching bootcamps, pre/post-natal, improving postural alignment and injury rehabilitation.


Asha Jenkins


Asha Jenkins is a seasoned fitness instructor with over 14 years experience.

As a personal trainer, holistic health counselor and yoga enthusiast she uses a blend of various exercise methods as well as nutritional counseling to help people of all ages and fitness levels to reach their goals.

She assists her clients with making the lifestyle changes necessary to achieve an overall greater since of well being.


David Malave

B.S. Health Education, NASM CPT Pre-Post Natal

David served as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Lehman College Baseball team, specifically working as the Outfield and Base running coach.

David delivers a unique and detailed style to functional strength and conditioning and has been known for his passion, motivation and professional approach for putting muscle science into training.

His athletic background and work with physical therapist/strength coaches are his greatest asset and what separates him from most all other trainers.


James Shiparo


James is a personal trainer who connects research to practical application in order to exceed his client’s expectations.

James shifted from being a USPTA Professional Level Tennis Coach to a personal trainer back in 2013. He continued his education by earning a MS in Exercise Science (Wellness & Fitness) along with certifications from NASM.

James is currently pursuing his second MS in Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning). His passion and expertise allows him to work with a diverse set of clients regardless of their limitations.



Michael Lantino


Michael grew up with a passion for athletics and the outdoors. After two decades of playing several sports and exercising, he then enrolled and graduated from the Focus Personal Training Institute in 2010.

Michael applies many modalities to his training specializations, which are building strength, metabolic conditioning, core training, post rehab and mobility/stability.

His main goals are to always listen to clients' needs, improve their quality of life and be part of the team effort to transformation!


Jacqueline Dennis


Jacqueline is a professional dancer and personal trainer! She fell in love with moving my body at an early age, and has been finding new ways to spread the love of movement ever since. 

She uses her background of dance to place an emphasis on body movement and posture. This forms a foundation that allows her clients to move better and achieve their fitness goals.


Courtney Cooper

RYT 200 Yoga Alliance

Courtney Cooper began practicing yoga 7 years ago and hasn’t stopped since! She has practiced a mix of power flow, hot vinyasa, and Bikram. 

A professional singer/songwriter, Courtney, loves yoga as a creative outlet, inspiration, and anxiety relief.

She studied her 200-hour teacher training at Core Power Yoga in Brooklyn, NY and has many hours of continued training.

Courtney is a proud certified member of the Yoga Alliance.


Wilbert Brown

NASM CPT, Focus Institute Master Course

Will developed an eye for fitness and sports performance while playing basketball at Niagara University.

Will had a professional basketball career for 10 years, playing in Israel, Germany, Japan, Spain and France. During his career, Will developed strength and conditioning programs for his teams.

He uses his unique skillset to ensure his clients reach their goals by blending agility, core, metabolic, strength and flexibility into his programs. Taking a team-based approach to his programming, the workouts are goal-oriented for both his clients and class attendees.


How much are classes?

In most cases FREE!  We work with buildings to provide top-notch, trendy classes to the residents.  See if your facility is listed on the MindBody app, and if not, contact us to find out how to get FitLink Classes delivered right to your building!

How do I book a class?

Classes are booked via MindBody. View the current schedule here.

How do I book a training session?

Contact and a representative will reach out to get you started or push you further on your fitness journey.

How do I check my package status?

Log on to your MindBody account here to view your account details.

How do I book my complimentary class?

View our schedule here and look for your building’s location. Once you’ve created a MindBody profile, simply click Book Now and you’ll be added to the roster. If class is at capacity, you’ll be added to the wait list.

Can I bring a guest to a class?

Complimentary classes are reserved exclusively for residents or employees. You are welcome to bring a guest to any paid class.

What's the late cancellation policy?

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for training sessions.
